Large biscuit tin with rocaille handles, crowned lid knob (slightly bent), gilded interior. In the centre medallion with rocailles and floral ornaments, inscription: "To your dear colleague Ernst Müller on the occasion of his 25th anniversary as director and member of the Leipzig City Theatre, 10 May 1890".Very good state of preservation, the lid is slightly cracked. Hallmark crescent/crown, 800 (silver fineness), maker's mark. Height: 24 cm, diameter: (from handle to handle) 27 cm. Weight: 836 grammes.
